FPRC Graduated a Family of 2!
We are excited to announce that Family Promise of
Roane County has graduated yet another family
thanks to your generosity and support. Our family
staying at Bethel Pres are now in stable and
sustainable housing!

Meet our New Executive Director!
We are excited that Charles Elmore has joined our team! A native of
Kingston, TN, he graduated from Roane County High School and
from Roane State Community College, where he studied business
and education. Charles also served as a short-term missionary in
Asia. Charles then attended Tennessee Technological University,
where he earned a bachelor’s degree as well as two graduate
degrees.
Charles spent seventeen years in education, working as a school librarian and technology
teacher. His experience outside of education includes The Roane County Industrial
Development Board, ORNL, Profit Management, Inc./Airport 82 & Associates, The Weekly
Times, The National Parks Service, and insurance. He has also served on the board for a
variety of local nonprofits and the state and regional library boards. In 2017, he cofounded
Outdoor Kingston, a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
Charles brings a lot of experience and skill to FPRC along with a charismatic personality that is
already gaining many connections and support throughout our area! We are excited about the
future and accomplishing the mission of FPRC!
